For starters the kitty is safe! We have a covered balcony on the third floor of an apartment building. We let our cats outside onto the balcony to enjoy the sunshine while we are watching them, we let

clotterycumpy • I'd tell him straight up to always double- check before closing the door. Cat's safe, but it's not cool to leave her out, storm or not. ↑ 4 -€ ...

hijack8966 ⚫ Seems like your dad is just unable to be responsible for your cats if this has happened a few times. Depending on how old he is, you could put it down to his age.

I wouldn't say him chuckling means he didn't care though, I do that myself when something happens that could have ended badly but didn't.
  • 22
It's understandable that you would be ped off about him leaving your cat outside, but I think you are overreacting a bit. In future, try not to make your dad responsible for your cats.
